Amsterdam to Prague – 8 Days of European Highlights

Why simply travel from Amsterdam to Prague when you can turn the journey itself into an unforgettable European adventure? 😉

Over 8 days, we’ll travel through the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, discovering peaceful canal villages, magnificent castles, medieval cities, legendary wine country and some of Europe’s most fascinating historical sites – all while making the journey between Amsterdam and Prague part of the adventure.

We’ll begin in Amsterdam before heading into the Dutch countryside to discover Utrecht and the magnificent De Haar Castle. We’ll also take an extra day to experience Giethoorn, a wonderfully peaceful village of canals, bridges and traditional thatched-roof houses – a charming glimpse of the Netherlands far beyond the famous capital.

From the Netherlands, we’ll cross into Belgium and discover Antwerp, Ghent and beautiful Bruges, often nicknamed the Venice of the North. With its canals, medieval architecture and picturesque streets, Bruges is one of those places that seems almost too beautiful to be real.

We’ll continue to Brussels, the Belgian capital and the heart of the European Union, before visiting Waterloo, where Napoleon’s ambitions finally met their Waterloo. 😉

Crossing into Germany, we’ll arrive in Aachen and admire its magnificent cathedral before following the Rhine Valley through one of Germany’s most spectacular landscapes. Medieval castles, vineyard-covered hills and charming riverside towns will accompany us along the way, with an opportunity to taste some of the region’s famous wines – including Riesling. 🥂

We’ll then continue to Heidelberg, with its romantic Old Town and castle, before discovering Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of Germany’s most beautifully preserved medieval towns.

Our final stop in Germany will be Nuremberg, where we’ll explore both its remarkable medieval heritage and the important sites connected with the dramatic events of the 20th century.

From there, we’ll continue to Prague — bringing eight days of castles, canals, medieval towns, vineyards and fascinating European history to a memorable close.

What makes our multi-day journeys special is not simply how many places we visit, but how efficiently and comfortably we connect them. Instead of losing valuable vacation time at airports, train stations, rental-car counters or search for a single day tours, you’ll travel privately from door to door, with your own experienced driver and local guide throughout the journey.

We take care of the driving, navigation, parking and logistics, while you simply enjoy the scenery, the stories, the food and the places along the way.

It is an active way of traveling, but never a rushed one – allowing you to experience far more of Europe in a single journey than would be practical on your own, while still having the comfort, flexibility and personal attention of a private tour.

Ten days. Several countries. Countless unforgettable moments. And one beautifully connected journey from Amsterdam to Prague.

That’s the way we believe Europe should be experienced. 😉
