Prague to Paris – 10 Days of European Highlights

Why spend your vacation simply getting from Prague to Paris when you can turn the journey itself into one of the most memorable parts of your trip? 😉

Over 10 days, we’ll take you through some of the most beautiful and fascinating corners of Central and Western Europe – combining historic cities, fairytale castles, spectacular Alpine scenery, charming wine regions and world-famous culinary traditions, all at a comfortable pace and without the hassle of constantly moving from one tour to the next.

We’ll begin in Prague and make our way west through the Czech Republic, with a stop in one of the country’s most beautiful and most visited towns – Cesky Krumlov, after which we’ll be continuing to Salzburg and its breathtaking Lake District. Here, you’ll discover the historic city itself, explore some of the iconic locations made famous by The Sound of Music, and enjoy the magnificent Alpine scenery surrounding it.

From Salzburg, the journey continues through Munich and Bavaria, including a visit to the legendary Neuschwanstein Castle, before crossing into Switzerland. We’ll explore Zurich and beautiful Lucerne, venture into the spectacular Swiss Alps, and visit Bern, Switzerland’s charming capital.

From there, we’ll follow the Rhine Valley westward, discovering picturesque towns, vineyards and medieval castles before entering the French region of Alsace. With its storybook villages, distinctive architecture and celebrated wineries, Alsace offers a wonderful blend of French and German influences – and plenty of opportunities to taste the local wines along the way. 😉

We’ll then return briefly to Germany to experience the legendary Black Forest, before continuing through the scenic Moselle Valley, where vineyards stretch along the winding river and a wine tasting makes a perfect afternoon stop.

And finally, we’ll arrive in France’s Champagne region, where there is really only one appropriate way to celebrate the end of such a journey – with a glass of bubbles. 🥂
