8 day tour from Prague to Amsterdam

Prague to Amsterdam – 8 Days of European Highlights

Why simply travel from Prague to Amsterdam when you can turn the journey itself into an unforgettable European adventure? 😉

Over 8 days, we’ll take you through some of the most fascinating and beautiful corners of Central and Western Europe – combining medieval towns, important chapters of European history, magnificent castles, legendary rivers and vineyards, charming Belgian cities and the unmistakable landscapes of the Netherlands.

We’ll begin in Nuremberg, where centuries of history come together in one fascinating city. We’ll explore its beautifully preserved medieval Old Town while also discovering the places connected with some of the most significant events of the 20th century.

From Nuremberg, we’ll continue to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of Germany’s most enchanting medieval towns, before arriving in Heidelberg, famous for its romantic Old Town, historic university and impressive “red” castle overlooking the Neckar River.

Our journey then follows the Rhine Valley, where medieval castles rise above the river and vineyards cover the surrounding hillsides. This is also the perfect place to experience some of Germany’s favorite wines – including the legendary Riesling. 🥂

Before leaving Germany, we’ll visit Aachen and its magnificent cathedral, one of the country’s most historically significant landmarks.

Crossing into Belgium, we’ll explore Waterloo, the site of Napoleon’s final defeat, before continuing to Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the heart of the European Union.

From there, we’ll discover Ghent and Bruges, often nicknamed the Venice of the North, with their picturesque canals, medieval architecture and unmistakable Flemish charm. We’ll also visit Antwerp, one of Belgium’s most fascinating and historically important cities.

Finally, we’ll enter the Netherlands and explore Utrecht, before visiting the magnificent De Haar Castle – one of the country’s most spectacular castles.

And because the Netherlands is about much more than its cities, we’ll take an extra day to discover Giethoorn, a wonderfully peaceful village of canals, bridges and thatched-roof houses – the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a completely different side of Dutch life.

Our journey finally comes to an end in Amsterdam, after eight days filled with history, architecture, castles, vineyards, canals and some of the most beautiful towns in Europe.

What makes our multi-day journeys special is not simply how many places we visit, but how efficiently and comfortably we connect them. Instead of losing valuable vacation time at airports, train stations, rental-car counters or search for a single day tours, you’ll travel privately from door to door, with your own experienced driver and local guide throughout the journey.

We take care of the driving, navigation, parking and logistics, while you simply enjoy the scenery, the stories, the food and the places along the way.

It is an active way of traveling, but never a rushed one – allowing you to experience far more of Europe in a single journey than would be practical on your own, while still having the comfort, flexibility and personal attention of a private tour.

Ten days. Several countries. Countless unforgettable moments. And one beautifully connected journey from Prague to Amsterdam.

That’s the way we believe Europe should be experienced. 😉
