About this Transfer

Moving yourself from place to place while in Europe doesn’t have to be a boring day that you need to just endure.

Our direct door to door transfer between Prague and Krakow takes approximately 5hours but we’re giving you the option to extend it and discover some of the most beautiful places along the way to make your day really unique and unforgettable.

Make your transfer an exploring journey and select your optional stopover from the description list bellow. You can pick two from either Kutna Hora – Olomouc – Stramberk – Auschwitz. You don’t pay anything extra for it – the stopover is free from us to make your transfer even more pleasant 😉

What are your other options?

Well, you can surely fly, but shorter distances are very inefficient as the time you have to spend on the airport before and after the flight is just enormous, and that is not even talking about getting to the airport with all your luggage and then the same thing to repeat again at your final destination, to involve taxi drivers and so on – needles to say that you don’t see anything from in between.

Taking a train seems to be a little bit smarter as it is usually faster and you can at least passively watch the countryside through your window, but you still have to handle all your luggage – which is both, strenuous and inconvenient, plus you don’t have that chance to range over the individual sites you’re passing by, which is really a true potential wasted and kind of frustrating.

And that is exactly where our service rocks -> becoming simply the best and wisest decision that you can make for yourself 😉

KUTNA HORA

Reveal beauty of this UNESCO listed historical town and former European capital of silver which helped to ensure the boom of Czech Kingdom in time of Gothic. See places like St. Barbara Cathedral, very unique Ossuary at Sedlec, Italian Court, Museum of Silver, Jesuit College, incredible Dacicky House and all the medieval parts of town in general.

This stopover adds approximately 2.5hours to the overall time of your transfer, plus the time for your coffee or lunch.

OLOMOUC

Half way through on your transfer, Olomouc is not only an optimal place for a lunch break, but thanks to its long history and high importance to the whole region of Central Europe from very beginning, it is possible to admire sites like the massive Baroque Holy Trinity Column, Gothic 12th century St. Wenceslas Cathedral or the historical Town Hall with an astronomical clock.

This stopover adds approximately 1.5hour to the overall time of your transfer, plus the time for your coffee or lunch.

STRAMBERK

Do you want to see something unique, set in a beautiful countryside and far from the crowds? …then this is the stopover for you. Enjoy this still undiscovered place in Moravia, walk up the castle’s tower for a magnificent views, sit down at a local restaurant were a fresh and crispy Czech beer will be a good company to your meal and later, taste the Stramberk Ears – protected designation of origin confectionery made here for 800 years.

This stopover adds approximately 1hour to the overall time of your transfer, plus the time for your coffee or lunch.

AUSCHWITZ – BIRKENAU

Commemorate all the terrors done here during WWII and do never forget. There is no way to understand postwar Europe and the world without an in-depth confrontation between our idea of mankind and the remains of Auschwitz.

This stopover adds approximately 2-3hours to the overall time of your transfer, plus the time for your coffee or lunch.

Please note that we are very flexible as with every of our tours. These are just the suggested stopovers from our side and all the sites listed are pretty optional, so for example if you don’t want to visit the cathedral of St. Barbara… it is absolutely fine 😉 Or maybe you’re not interested in a coffee stop or you would like to have something else for your lunch… fine too 😉 …we have always plan B, C or D in our pocket 🙂 You might be also interested to see some sites not mentioned here which is also fine as this is your day, you are on a private tour and we will always do our best to accommodate all your wishes – unless they’re too unrealistic 🙂
